About Interior Quote

Interior jobs worth lakhs are still quoted on a spreadsheet copied from the last job. We built Interior Quote so that the quotation is never the reason a firm loses one.

Interior Quote is quotation software for interior design and fit-out firms. It is made by Qrenzy Digital Solutions, a small software company in Thrissur, Kerala, India.

Why we built it

Most interior firms we spoke to quote from an Excel sheet or a Word file that has been copied and edited for years. Totals drift, tax is added by hand, payment stages are worked out on a calculator, and the client gets a PDF they cannot respond to. A revision means another file with “final-2” in its name.

We wanted a quotation that is calculated, not typed: one place where the lines, tax, discount and stages always agree, that the client can open on a phone and accept, and where every sent version is kept as it was.

How we check the numbers

Money is stored in the currency’s smallest unit, never as a floating-point number, and rounding follows one rule everywhere. Before the first release we rebuilt a real quotation from an interior firm line by line and confirmed that every line, the total and each payment stage matched the original exactly. Those calculations run as automated tests on every change.

Who is behind it

Qrenzy Digital Solutions is led by Sajeesh V S, who founded the company and is responsible for Interior Quote. He has spent more than 18 years in IT infrastructure, software, digital marketing and media production, working in Thrissur, Bangalore, Muscat, Dubai and Jeddah. Before writing Interior Quote, he prepared quotations and invoices for interior firms in Kerala and worked with interior and fit-out studios in Muscat, and saw how much time the spreadsheet took from both.
